Embassy superlegalisation and document enquiries

Not every foreign document follows the apostille route. Tell us who issued your document and which authority will receive it, so we can assess the appropriate support and provide a written quotation.

Which authentication route applies?

Authentication, certified copies and translations are separate checks.

When superlegalisation may apply

Where an apostille or relevant exemption does not apply, a foreign public document may require authentication ending with the competent embassy. Preliminary checks and authorities depend on the document and country. We confirm the route before requesting originals or agreeing work.

Authentication, copies and signatures

Superlegalisation is not the same as witnessing a signature, certifying a copy or translating a document. Describe exactly what the receiving authority requested so we can identify the relevant enquiry. Government authentication, appointments and acceptance remain subject to the authorities.

Translation is a separate check

Authentication does not replace a required translation. Ask the receiving authority which language and certification it accepts. Tell us the document type, issuing country, destination and intended use before agreeing the service.

Your documents and quotation

Contact us to agree how to send scans or clear photos for assessment and quotation. Admin or staff will confirm whether originals are needed and where to deliver them. Originals received in Delhi or Prague are logged. Return is by agreed collection or client-approved tracked courier, normally at the client’s cost. We confirm scope and charges in writing; no fixed completion time or acceptance outcome is promised.
